A novel feeling of being in Nepal within the pink sandstone confines of Sedona. Loved the quiet spaces, the bountiful prayer flags and the wind chimes. Thank you. P7254SYscottc的完整评论

The hike is not that strenuous, however, if you have any health issues and are concerned about the short hike you can call the number listed on the website for additional information. There are options for people with health issues to get up the the Stupa and the staff is very nice and accommodating.
Hello I have been to Sedona many times but never to Peace Park. You mentioned that there is a good trail there as well or at least close by. My new wife is Thai and I thought she would enjoy that park and the hike as well. How do I get there from the middle of town? Bill

Minnie H direction are correct. A landmark is a circle K on corner of 89a & Andante & what we call Smiths corner opposite side. You will be driving along neighborhood houses so not the usual trail route. The Stupa has a few paths go up past the stupa & large wood Buddha & follow any of the peace flags. You will find a heart & a medicine wheel made of red rock stones as well as another small stupa. She will love this peaceful paradise honoring the Buddha. On Sat the Buddhist Nuns are there praying and different events are there throughout the year.

Hi Jenni The trail is not wheelchair friendly, however, we can open up a service road for you that will allow you to drive right up to the Stupa. You can make arrangements for that by calling 1-877-788-7229 in advance. Leave a message and one of the Stupa caretakers will get back to you and arrange to meet you there. It would be ideal if you called 2 or 3 days in advance. Olin

It's a bit of a hike up rocks and jagged areas. I use a cane part time and it was helpful. It isn't super hard, but for a severely handicapped person I wouldn't advise it, honestly. It is such an incredible experience, with a bit of help for a person in need, it is worth considering.
