Those at McKendree University are mourning the loss of one of their own Thursday. The school’s water polo coach, 34-year-old Colleen Lischwe, was killed in a crash on Interstate 44 early Wednesday morning.

The victim was identified as Colleen Lischwe, the men’s and women’s water polo head coach at a Missouri college.

Colleen Lischwe, 34, of St. Louis, died Wednesday morning after her car was struck by a tractor-trailer on eastbound Interstate 44.

Colleen Lischwe, the head men’s and women’s water polo coach at McKendree University, died Wednesday in an automobile accident. She was 34
