Thirty years ago, just in time for Christmas 1994, PlayStation unveiled its first-ever console in Japan, bringing it to the rest of the world the following year – all to great acclaim.
To close out the year, the company is going out with a bang with its flashy (and probably expensive) Sphere ad in Las Vegas. PlayStation really going all out to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
