Everett police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a man identified as a person of interest in the stabbing of a 13-year-old boy Thursday morning.

The Everett Police Department has identified a person of interest in the stabbing of a 13-year-old boy who was on his way to school.

Everett police say the person of interest in the stabbing of a teen boy about a block from North Middle School on Jan. 16 was taken into custody hours after the attack, but for reasons not related to the stabbing.

Police are still searching for a person of interest in the stabbing of a 13-year-old boy in Everett. They identified him as 21-year-old Andrew Freeman. The teen boy was stabbed while walking to school and still recovering from his wounds.
