LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – The Santa Monica Police Department has made over 40 arrests from the start of the Palisades Fire on Jan.

Bakersfield city and Kern County firefighters make up the Urban Search and Rescue team that is deploying to the L.A. fires.

Some are questioning why the Santa Ynez reservoir, located in the Palisades Highlands, was offline during the firefight. The reservoir has a capacity of holding 117 million gallons of water.
