Braydon Bennett was a mainstay for the Chanticleers. He had 321 carries for 1,954 yards (a 6.1 average) and 24 touchdowns, plus 76 catches for 769 yards and four TDs.
The players walked out to the Flower of Scotland tune and there was a chorus of applause as Sir Alex Ferguson laid a wreath on the half-way line. A poem was read out in his honour.
