Bears are carnivoran mammals of the family Ursidae (/ ˈɜːrsɪdiː, - daɪ /). They are classified as caniforms, or doglike carnivorans. Although only eight species of bears are extant, they are widespread, appearing in a wide variety of habitats throughout most of the Northern Hemisphere and partially in the Southern Hemisphere.

2024年11月16日 · The new nature center will be located on Wild Bear’s 5 acres at the gateway of almost 3,000 wild acres and 16 miles of trail in western Boulder County (within the Town of Nederland). This will allow Wild Bear to engage people directly in nature from the nature center.

Join Wild Bear Naturalists on a guided 4 mile hike at Caribou Ranch as we explore the local ecology and practice gratitude. We’ll be talking Tree ID, birds and animals that stay active over the winter, and human connection with nature. Get creative with arts and crafts inspired by the Earth! Nature is good for the body, mind, and soul.
