BMW calls it the Coding Plug and BMW charges anywhere from $25 to as high as $79 depending on where you find one for sale. I have seen several people online say it stores data, keeps setting etc. But the same plug works on about 20 models of bikes when I was looking for one.

Of course this could be off as the frame is certainly different but .8 inches is roughly ~ 20mm which would put the Enduro seat height at around 870mm/890mm. GS: 850mm/870mm.
