Here are my thoughts with no sugar-coating. I love the seat. Love the tanned leather and it looks very convertible. good job lowering the front end as much as possible by switching to bar-end Morris and a low custom speedometer. However, I feel that the front end is still too high, if your goal is to to follow traditional cafe racer lines.

This is my very first custom cafe racer build as also brought stock standard dirt bikes or road bikes and added a couple of extra aftermarket parts. I have currently brought a K100 RS 1985 bike about 3 months ago.

2021年9月29日 · I think cafe racers are hilarious and the modern take on a cafe racer even more so. Take a perfectly competent, well handling bike, make it look ugly and asymetrical, put ridiculous tyres on it and make a riding position utterly unsuitable for any practical riding in a country as big as Australia and Bob's your aunty Mary.

2023年12月4日 · Look at a 1992 k75 that’s already been somewhat converted to a cafe build. Owner says it just needs a new wiring harness and throttle cable. I’ve done some moderate wrenching on a sport bike I have, including retiming the engine, compression tests, and the like.

2016年4月17日 · K75 is lighter, and can be found for less money. As I recall, the K75's brick was a three cylinder version of the K100. I think the other differences were in suspension and brakes, with the K75 having slightly inferior bits. If you can find a decent K100, scoop it up. The clutch lever pulls up the side stand by the way.

I changed front fork springs, oil, rear shock and handlebar, all these along with the weight reduction made the bike very agile in comparison to stock.
