2010年3月1日 · Bought a 26 foot CaseIH 4800 field cultivator. It currently has 9" sweeps with it. I am planning on doing quite a bit of "primary" tillage with it this spring. I'm afraid that I'm not going to like the 9" sweeps on it for that purpose. I think for a second pass they'd be fine. Anybody have any experience?

2014年2月22日 · We have run a 45 cultivator for 34 years and have tried several different sweeps. Decided on the 7" width is as wide as you want to go or you'll have clearance problems with trash or weeds at times ( tried one set of 9" ultra wing). Currently using 7" ultra wing knock ons. 9" will pull harder too.

2024年4月27日 · Richmond Brothers out of Michigan, about double the price of others at $32 but the sweep on the right has ran two full seasons in the wheel track on our cultivator where a Nichols or Case IH would only last 2/3rds of a season, I think the RB will run two more seasons.
