Tips for buying a PS5 in China - ResetEra
2023年5月19日 · Seeing as the PS5 is apparently a thing you can actually buy now I thought I might do so. But I remember people talking about some issues when buying/setting up consoles in China. I'm not if there's any truth to it so I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with doing it and could give me some advice.

2024年10月3日 · For the hours (years) of enjoyment provided, even getting a LG OLED and a PS5 Pro (Around $2K total) is super cheap compared to alot of hobbies. Only hobby I have cheaper than that, besides Gaf, Netflix or reading, is resistance training at a local community rec center (gym membership is around $360 a year).

2024年10月12日 · I’ve been holding off buying a PS5… until they announced the 30th anniversary limited edition (plus Silent Hill 2 came out; which was one of my favorite PS2 games). I managed to get a pre-order for a Dualsense: but missed the boat on the 30th anniversary slim. I overslept when it went up for pre-order here in the Netherlands.

2024年10月7日 · Depends on the budget. It's a new and small UK team, so maybe it was a cheap port that'll pick up enough to cover the budget and provide a timely October release. Could be PlayStation testing the developer relationship too. I really enjoyed the original game, so if performance is improved, I might pick it up on sale down the road.

2024年10月3日 · A $30 monthly gym sub is cheap. And that's a cheap hobby. Or you can get on the gear and extra curricular to 'enhance' your hobby and end up $$$ A PS5/Xbox and a TV is cheap. Or you can enhance that hobby too with OLED and a beast PC $$$ NeoGAF is a cheap hobby, unless you're John Marston or OverHeat enhancing/spunking $$$ on GOLD lol.

2024年9月9日 · I think they had to, they weren't selling 35k to the Japanese market, people from other regions were abusing the weak Yen to get cheap PS5's for their countries. They probably saw how dire the Japanese market was for them and figured cutting it off was "better" for them, than not selling that same PS5 in more expensive regions.
