2015年7月25日 · The default screenshot tool of elementary OS offers the possibility to record only a portion of the screen or just the current running app. Have a look at the keyboard options in the system settings. There is a section just for screenshots with all possible hotkeys.

However, with and without borders will control where the border is - so it will either just be the window you want, then a white background added and then a shadow, or it will be the thing that is actually behind the window, including shadows.

When im trying to make a screenshot with the standard screenshot utility on elementary OS (Version: 0.2.1 "Luna" ( 32-bit )) the window flashes and the picture saved is just my desktop background (or the area I grabbed) and not the window I wanted to screenshot.

I've found that screenshot-tool, an app built for elementary OS, solves this while integrating nicely with the system.
