Mar 5, 2024 · I'm trying to set up a Server right now, using FileZilla Server and Client. I'm using Windows XP for the FileZilla Server and Windows 10 for the FileZilla Client (I don't know if that's important, but i can't use a newer Windows Version because of some programs). Now i installed the FileZilla Server and then set listen on port to 22.

I am downloading files internally on my home network from the server to the laptop. When I download a file, the MAX bandwidth that is displayed is 5MB per second. I have a GIGABIT ethernet lan network of 1000MB per second.

Oct 1, 2021 · Recently install new FileZilla server 1.0.1 on Windows 10. Two days in a row the FileZilla Server service has stopped. I keep the Admin panel open on my desktop to see which security cameras are uploading motion files (windows minimized in the Task Bar) and just happen to notice that it is no longer connected.

The client sends the EPSV Request, 2. the server answers with 229 Entering Extended Passive Mode (|||3804|) 3. the client sends a SYN to the Server on 3804 4. the client sends an ACK to (2.) the "Entering Extended Passive Mode" packet

May 3, 2015 · The current workaround for is to create an entry for the server in the Site Manager. Once you've created the entry, under the General tab, Encryption, select "Only Use Plain FTP (Insecure)". It's an annoying hassle, and it doesn't help the people who are suddently having problems and don't know why.

We have the need to update large files on the server side, something rsync is perfectly suited to, but we need to do so on-demand, with each update being an urgent one-time thing, rather than wanting a scheduled sync, something FileZilla's FTP centric GUI is great at managing.
