2019年5月29日 · Millermatic 211 flux core question. 05-29-2019, 07:57 PM. I bought a new Miller 211 today, I really like it! My question is, the guy at the welding shop said I don't have to change the wires around for flux core, just the switch. The owner's book says to change the wires.

2012年4月15日 · Yes, The difference is Gasless is designed to work without gas and the wire has a core of flux to make up for this. Flux cored has flux in the certer also but is run with gas and because the wire is so large it can lay down an enormous amount of weld in not a lot of time. will. 2004年12月8日 · Use an Er80-s6 wire and 75/25 gas. The flux core dose not have the tensile strenght or the mechanical properties tho make structuraly sound weld on 4130 steel. If any has any other opinions the please speak up. Yes you can get fusion but it wont pass the technical inspection for any normal sanctioning body in racing.

Manganese will work harden and add toughness to a weld. If you do multiple passes with these wires they could crack due to the mangenese content will keep building in the weld and become brittle.
