It's quirky, and far from perfect, but there really is nothing else like it. It turns a lot of heads. The trigger is a little heavy, but breaks very clean.

HK SL8-1 vs. SL8-6 and date code - HKPRO Forums
2021年8月15日 · I recently bought a SL8, supposed to.be newly manufactured, from Rifle gear. How it shows SL8-1 on the receiver. My buddy bought his from somewhere else and has SL8-6 on the receiver. Also, HK's ins posted some pictures which all show SL8-6. So, did I buy a old stock one？As far as I know, the old SL8-1 should be grey color with full length rail.

Put another 10 rounds down-range and held the group just slightly out of 1/2". 4) Moved to 100-yards. 3-shot-group, adjusted elevation, repeat 3-shot group till correct elevation was reached. Put about 100 rounds donw-range.

2011年12月27日 · I have an H&K G36 Dual optic on my SL8. The objectives are small for CQ works. I have used an Aimpoint M2 with 3X multipler on a La Rue swing mount on my M4 in Afghanistan. The aimpoint with multiplier is a good set up but puts the main optic too far forward for close quarters in my opinion if you I also used the multipler.

I own a wide variety of AR mags from different mnfg's and basically none of them would work right until I tried pmags. All the pmags I have tried have functioned flawlessly in the gun.

2007年10月21日 · B. beerman. 35 posts · Joined 2004. #7 · Oct 25, 2007. any weaver/picatinny rings will do the job, on my sl8 will a pair of ARMS #22 medium rings clear a leupold MK4 8,5-25 LRT (50mm objective) so that's what i recommend ;-) then you also get 1" spacers and use them on the first scope. 2021年10月4日 · I got the 6. Its the newer one. Maybe not. Some have reported here that the newly released SL8s are coming stamped SL8-1 while others are coming stamped SL8-6. The date code is what actually determines whether one is newer than the other. If they are both the same color and configuration, it doesn’t really matter.

2136 posts · Joined 2012. #2 · Jun 17, 2012. It kills me to say this- BUT I too recently got a SL8-6, and I ended up going with the UTG lowpro rail from HKParts. I bought a G36 rail with irons, but my scope hits the irons, so for $60, that UTG rail actually isnt bad, and it KILLS me to put UTG stuff on a Hk rifle.
