For people with those HALO lights, did yours go out?
Jan 7, 2009 · but any color lights in the front half of the car other then yellow-white , blue-white, or amber is illegal. red can only be used on tail lights. i have halo. about 2 years old now (since previous owner put them in), still going strong.

Feb 9, 2009 · Restore your OEM lights (3M restoration works best). IMO the tint on headlights is dumb but to each his own. I baked my 2GAs took them apart sanded the chrome and painted them black.

Oct 30, 2010 · LED halos in most Halo lights are driven by 2 small 5mm LEDs, that's why they are so dim. An LED ring with many SMD LEDs will be loads brighter then LEDs. Feb 13, 2008 · Ok now I see what you want - to just run them alone. To properly wire this you should wire the lights positive to a 30A relay with 20A fuse going to battery positive (or fusebox +12V rail). Lights negative to ground. Lights positive and negative should use 14 gauge wire all the way to the +12V source and ground.

Feb 10, 2004 · The LED halos from ebay are very weak and pathetic compared to the high output ones in BMWs. While ours cast a baleful and hardly noticable ring, the BMW ones are so bright that you can't really take a clear picture of them (anyone whose tried this with a digital camera would have noticed that the image always ends up with the lights blurred out, as if the car had its low-beams on).

A bit annoying, but i would play with the switch a bit (the small circular one on the left of the dash that controls the brightness of the dash light)

Now if you look at the fog light straight on you will see one bolt to the outside edge of the car that holds the backplate to the car.
