For those of you that have hip length hair or longer, How long
2023年1月7日 · So from chin-length to hip-length has been 5 years. That said, I don't use heat on my hair. At all. I haven't straightened or curled my hair with heat since before 2018. About 10 months ago I really started taking care of my hair. I started loosely braiding it at night, using a silk pillowcase, and using hair oil/leave in conditioner after washing.

I think I'm at waist length, but my hair still feels so short
Hair that's hip length on a 5'0 person is barely waist length on a 5'11 person. Maybe you've seen a lot of tall people posting pictures, and for them to reach your length, they need more hair which gives you the false impression yours is short at waist length XD.

Idk. I had hip-length hair (even a bit longer tbh) and I wanted a change. I chopped off everything and made it chin-length and everyone was stunned. "Why did you do that? People die for their hair to grow. You looked better in long hair. Blah blah blah blah." I felt I looked better with shorter hair and it grew back in like a year.

Before putting my hair up I use my towel to get the excess water off the same way my hair dresser does - if it’s good enough for him to do it’s good enough for me to do!
