2019年3月30日 · For Zippo type lighters, just store them dry with a bottle of fuel. Ronson or Zippo fluid is naptha, the same stuff that ‘coleman’ fuel is, white gas = naptha. If you sealed flints from moisture and kept a sealed bottle of fuel, you have a lighter that will work at any time.

2024年2月25日 · The blowtorch flame lighters are great for lighting candles and other wicks. Arc plasma lighters can light a cigarette while keeping my beard safe. Matches are great when they work. I still like having the big open flame of a Bic for lighting wood fires and camp stoves. You can even see the fuel level with a white Bic.

Looking for a reliable, refillable, non-plastic butane lighter
2023年9月6日 · If you have a jet lighter and it's clogged, invert the butane canister over the jet and press down like you're trying to fill it through the jet. Do it for about a second, let it defrost and do it again. Then try the lighter. I use various torch lighters for cigars, and blowing the butane through clears the clog in the jet.

Pictured here next to a full size Clipper, a full size Bic, and the last functional Bic Mini in my possession. Not much to review, it's like the full size Clipper, only smaller. It just works. I'll go back to EDC'ing the full size Clipper come freezing weather.
