2022年4月4日 · To make it breakfasty, I sometimes put a fried egg inside. Heaven. Other easy ways to use it is to put some strips into instant ramen, or use diced kimchi and its juice to make fried rice. Super delicious. You can also avoid the cabbage kimchi entirely, and make cucumber kimchi. Seems simpler, and doesn't have the long fermentation process.

2023年2月5日 · First time I made kimchi (to be fair I made a sort of large batch) I went slower to make sure I was doing everything right. Ended up taking 14 hrs to cut, prep, do everything (I kept the cabbage whole leaves) and honestly I'd leave the next day open too, for rest.

I know everyone here loves to add million things from korean pear to rice flour to sweet rice flour etc but kimchi in its essence is just salt fishy sauce and garlic.
