Now I get this new laptop and I find out I cant use my Microsoft Works version 9.0 to access old files or continue with new ones. I have the Microsoft Works 9.0 CD disk that I bought about 5 years ago when I had to upgrade to Win 7. This new laptop doesn't have a CD drive.

So - you could probably change the executable/shortcuts so they run in Windows Vista compatibility mode and that MIGHT help...

I tried opening it on my computer at work and it won't open there either. How do you save something you've done on word processor to the regular "old microsoft word". I am not a happy camper with this works that is on my new computer. There are no instructions in the help section and microsoft wants to charge $49.99 to give you any help.
