The reason I'm asking is that about 2 months … As you can see, the only 'causes' listed here are 'melanoma' and 'skin cancer'. Melanoma is mentioned a whopping 5 TIMES. Last year I developed an itchy mole on my back.
Mole biopsy came back as "moderate to severe atypia." In hysterics.
2019年3月10日 · Exactly - I had fear over a mole about 6 months ago. Atypical mole really just means its a bit different from the rest. Very, very rarely do they transform into anything sinister. I can't remember the exact statistics, but it was very low. Sorry to hear your doctor had a bad bedside manner. This is all too common!

2017年3月10日 · Last week my hand brushed against it so I decided to check it the way I normally would and all seemed fine, I'm not sure why I did it but I decided to take a photo of it with my phone and in the photos it looks completely different to how I see it with just my eye. I have uploaded photos with this post for people to see what they think.

2022年8月9日 · Hi, I had a freckle/mole on my leg that I couldn’t stop messing with when I noticed it. It was brown but with slightly darker brown on one side. I fiddled so much i picked it off, and when that’s happened before to different moles they’ve grown back pretty much the same.

2022年1月31日 · Hello all I saw this mole on my face (looks normal, colour, shape etc.) like an oval think its smaller than pencil eraser but hard to tell due to angle. I think I have noticed it before but I cannot be sure, there are a few other moles (normal looking) near it also. I just worry about new moles as they can become cancerous.

2017年7月16日 · The mole in question is just over 4mm and the shape is normal. A few weeks ago I got some bites near where this mole is. Perhaps even one on it. And it became inflamed and formed a scab which I picked off and it bled. This has all healed now. No scab. But I am convinced the mole looks slightly red in the middle and is maybe a tiny bit different ...
