The cheapest Rx 580 I found was 400$ and on the used market an in the box nearly brand new Rx 580 was 140$,the price I would have paid for a GT 1030.

2021年1月9日 · No. You'll need to buy a new video card, one with at least 8GB of ram on it would be best. it probably would work for web browsing, aka not worth it. try asking google for specs will tell you straight away the answer is no. on that not will a nvidia riva TNT 2 run oculus Link 🤔. Oculus has a compatibility list.

Like with Kepler there was the GT 610, GT 710, GT 720 etc but the lowest maxwell went on desktop was GTX 950, then pascal brought back the GT 1030. I think there might be a GT 3010, 3020, 3030 etc but probably not. Intel and AMD iGPUs are powerful enough that the GT XX10, XX20, XX30 class of card is irrelevant now.

Sidenote - apparently you have to scale down resolution to 50% to get in the neighborhood of 40fps with dips to 30fps in SuperHOT on i5 2600k with gt 1030, a game that is not that graphically demanding, thus making the whole experience kinda worst ...

GTX 1050 is a better deal in every way except when you are unable to install it. I got a gt 1030 because my pc has a 160 W PSU and 50 W rail power, a GTX 1050 would kill it.
