2022年4月10日 · As per @stringsn88keys comment, it was logout and login with password on my local machine that got RDP working. While I had both PIN and Password enabled on my local machine I had only ever previously used the PIN. Using the Password once to log in allowed me to authenticate to RDP. –

2021年1月18日 · It seems bizarre that this would do anything, but to my surprise this actually worked and I can now RDP into that computer using the MicrosoftAccount\… username and password. Not sure how that works, perhaps the authentication that is done as part of running that command updates cached credentials as a side effect or something.
