So I was thinking to put a little bit thicker tires on. I did my math and the closest ratio tire is 235/50. It will be a bit smaller overall height.

Again, if you are just looking for 18" rims, you could go with a slightly lower profile tire than the stock LTZ tire, and your speedometer would be fine. My first Malibu was a platinum with 17's, my current one is an LTZ with 18's. I really do prefer the look of 18's over 17's.

Take it from a Metric schooled Canuck. Remember, those numbers are millimeters. Ten millimeters to a centimeter. 2.54 centimeters to an inch.

2016年8月21日 · OK. Same story, fewer options. 265/75r15 is basically an extinct tire size. There is a flotation size, 31x10.5r15, that is essentially identical in dimensions, however. If you're happy with your current size, switch to 31x10.5's. Just make sure to the ones with a load rating of C. D or E will be overkill for a TJ and hurt your ride quality.

2019年10月27日 · The CJ currently sits with a 3" lift and is wearing 33x12.50R15 mud tires on stock wagon wheels. Given that it's an '80 CJ it has narrow track axels. I've knocked some lugs off the inside right tire from steering at full lock. Also I'm not crazy about the mud tires since they tend to wander on pavement.

Sold '99 WJ limited, 4.7L, 3" IRO lift. Bilstein shocks, JK rubicon wheels, 255/70/17's, carolina driveshaft, IRO adjustable control arms, IRO adjustable A-arm.

I have 225-75-r16 on mine with no rubbing but it is darn close. I'm sure that if I would have went any larger it would have rubbed.
