5 天之前 · The best value on the Social Menu must be the Souvlaki Platters for a mind-boggling $17.40! You can choose between 4 different skewers including chicken, pork, beef (+$1.00) or prawns. It includes all the fixins' including rice, roast potatoes, tzatziki and veggies. All of the skewers are well-charred and seasoned.

At first glance, Don at Kitsilano looks like a fancy spot with equally fancy food. Well, that is partially correct. The decor is IG-worthy and those tables, with the resin in the middle are absolutely stunning.

2022年12月16日 · When the Steamed Shao Mai with fish roe hit the table, it made sense why it was priced at $9.38. Instead of the usual 4 dumplings, we found 5 of them (that were quite large). They were good with a good mix of bouncy processed pork along with chunks of meat. There was shrimp that were properly textured as well.

2021年10月27日 · Finished off tableside, the Oysters on the half shell were sauced with a motoyaki and topped with ikura marinated in sake and yuzu. As you can see in the picture, the oysters were torched, where the ikura were charred. So beyond the buttery and briny oyster, it was complimented by the classic Japanese flavours of a motoyaki.

2024年8月15日 · From all the choices of tacos, we got a few including the Baja Shrimp and the Octopus. Crispy on the outside while meaty and perfectly cooked on the inside, the shrimp were pretty sweet on their own. However, the addition of some cabbage, crema, mayo, salsa roja and pico de gallo added crunch, brightness, acidity and background spice.

2022年2月1日 · A bit of an understated dish was the Crispy Tofu with a tamarind, sweet chili and peanut sauce. Naturally, the tofu by itself was not very flavourful, but that was mainly the dip's responsibility. It did its job with good tanginess with a mild spice and of course the smooth nuttiness of the peanut.

2021年11月5日 · The last dish we prepared was the Pork Pomodoro Pasta with pesto pull-apart bread (we omitted the pesto since the kids didn't want it). Due to the absence of pesto, the bread was a bit plain in appearance. It was fluffy inside though. As for the pasta, it was fully-loaded with pork and zucchini.
