2010年11月17日 · I had heard over the years there was a few EARLY 1967 GTOs produced with Tri-Power. I have read in the >> The GTO Red Book this to be true. However many swear NONE were ever built. In 2008 I attended a Car Auction in Atlantic City NJ where on the block was a Gold 1967 frame off resto GTO with Tri-Power.

2024年9月23日 · I helped a friend with a conversion 30 years ago and we simply drilled and tapped two 3/8" holes in the frame and bolted the bracket on with grade 8 bolts. Has been fine. Was supposed to get him to the welder but he never got around to it. Still has the car....421 4 speed tripower '66 GTO.

2024年10月7日 · I saw this car yesterday. They are advertising it as a 1967 GTO. The thing that caught my eye off the bat is the six pack sitting on top of the manifold. It is a very nice looking car, however, it is in no way in 1967 and I am doubting it’s really a “GTO”. Pretty car, very clean but not in 1967 and most likely not a GTO.

It is a barn find here in PA. and it has a 1985 PA. inspection sticker on the windshield, indicating the last time it was on the road. I have purchased a lot of reconditioned used and new parts for the car and everything goes with it.
