2021年9月27日 · I was just at a job where the utility company installed and maintains the underground feeder. It is a RUD area. They used 2/0 Aluminum for a 200 amp service and the run from the transformer to the meter is about 240 feet. It has been like that for over 25 years.

2018年1月3日 · In my area, this would not even be discussed. We use aluminum for practically everything residential and commerical - service entrance, laterals, feeders, SEU, SER, URD, you name it. If it's aluminum wire or cable, we use it. We recently did a 1200 amp service for a condo building and used 750 AL.

2022年7月25日 · 2/0 copper using the 75F table is 175 amps. Not enough for 200 Check with your POCO to be sure. They have standards and if you fail to meet them they just drive away laughing. I just did a 200 amp overhead and used 250 aluminum for the hots and 4/0 al for the neutral. Required because of the heat derate.
