2015年9月23日 · I've burned an Ashley wood stove for over 30 years. I thought it was time for a new one so I bought one and had it delivered. This is a model BEC95. I paid almost $1000 for it. I uncrated the stove, examined it and found, what I thought to be, a part missing. That part being the sliding plate to control the draft through the ash clean-out door.

2017年1月3日 · If your wood is green, you might have to keep the air more open to get the green wood to burn. The wood will burn faster doing things this way and you will get less heat. Doesnt sound right but it takes a lot of heat to dry that green wood before it will burn, and most of your heat escapes up the flue in the form of steam.

2012年12月31日 · Your preference? I have a old Ashley wood stove that I just put a new stainless steel liner this is the second one in 40 years. I burn mostly pine my wood is well seasoned. I live in California where the weather is mild it was 29 this am. I like the soft wood it seems to put out more heat. I know the oak leaves a good bed of coals. Happy New Year
