2021年10月28日 · Who wins in a general sense between Azog and Gothmog. What I mean is who is the better tactician and commander? I’m going with Azog. Per the movie info he was the one chosen to actually lead Sauron’s armies during the war of the ring. If he hasn’t died fighting Thorin we would’ve seen a vastly different war in the south.

2022年7月21日 · I think it was something like Sauron > Gothmog > Glaurung, and one more named villain Thuringwethil who seemed to serve Sauron. There probably were more, but out of the two, Sauron is higher in rank, both Gothmog and Glaurung are Lieutenants of Morgoth's armies and together with Sauron, all are all are known to command attacks.

2018年1月1日 · Atrocious photo I know, but here is a comparison of my two biggest pedes: Azog, and a recently molted Gothmog. The latter has put on at least a centimetre of length after its molt. I have to admit Gothmog still looks tiny compared to Azog. His molt colours are very cool though.

2021年11月25日 · We never get that with Lurtz or Gothmog: the former isn't introduced in earnest until the very last stretch of The Fellowship of the Ring, is killed at the end of the movie, and only says a couple of lines in the interim. Sure, he's more menacing, but he's more of a figure than a character. Azog is a character.

Bolg question by saying that I personally think Bolg is better if you're running Azog's Hunters, but I think that Azog is better if you're running Azog's Legion. Bolg's Morgul Arrows ability is a nice boon to your hunter orcs, but is worthless on an Azog's Legion army.
