Xfinity won't terminate service for the 1st warning and you don't need to contact them. The 1st DCMA notice serves as a warning. Talk to whoever was home at the time shown on the DCMA notice and inform them that downloading copyrighted content is a big no no especially over your Internet connection.

It's the companies defending the IP that do. The system at Comcast that managed those DMCA notices pretty much just checked the IP Address the e-mail from the Intellectual Property holder/company they hired to defend the Intellectual Property referenced and then assigned the notice to the account that that IP address was assigned to.
