2020年8月3日 · The DMG has some good ideas around this sort of thing. Displacer Beast (MM) Flail Snail (VGM) Grungs (VGM) Lizardfolk (MM and Ghosts of Saltmarsh) Will-o'-Wisp (MM) Catablopas are great for swamp monsters, as are giant crocodiles, lizardfolk, and hydras.

2014年10月9日 · They hit at a +7, and if they hit they grapple. Creatures they grapple get restrained (disadvantage on attack rolls and advantage to anyone attacking them). So you have a wandering swamp druid with his crocodile familiar, and they can be a really terrifying combo. The croc holds someone down while the druid beats the crap out of them.

One encounter that went really well for me as a DM was having a sinkhole and having a pack of wild animals surround the party and continually try to tackle them into the pit, where they’d get stuck in the muck and have a snarling beast on top of them.

Hydras with a green dragon's breath attack are even more fun. a 5 headed hydra combining it's breath attacks for a 1/day cloudkill is even more fun than that. pg. 87 of the DMG and pgs. 97-100 of Xanathar's Guide have random forest encounter tables you could use for inspiration.
