2021年8月24日 · Remove and reseat the pen tip (either by fingertip or extraction tool). Test on known app. Reseat the AAAA battery in the pen, and test on known app (Change the battery in Surface Pen). Open pen and remove and reinstall the same battery to ensure good connection. Let us know how it goes by simply responding on this thread.

2023年2月5日 · Open apps and use your Surface with touch. If you can't use your finger on your Surface, go to What to try if your Surface touchscreen doesn't work. After touch is working, try your pen again. Other way you can do is to test the pen with another Surface or test another pen to your Surface device. This will help us isolate who's having the issue.

Click on the tip twice and you will launch an additional window, this is the new "Inking on workspace" then you will be able to start writing on the existing document like before. you are able to adjust the pen settings to your preference (click once or twice) in your "pen settings". hope this helps.

There's no such option as Pen in any of my microsoft apps but still excel and onenote is working fine with pen but word and powerpoint isn't working. There are no pen strokes visible on the screen in these two apps. I guess this happened after the lastest updates of office.
