Service ESC/ Check Engine light after accelerating too quickly
2023年12月4日 · 2020 malibu LT 1.5L Been trying to get this figured out for a while now, but anyone possibly know why the ESC notification, check engine, and T/C light would come on while attempting too accelerate quickly, such as when passing someone?

2014年4月16日 · Over the last 6 months, I have been getting a message stating, "Service ESC/Service Traction/ESC Off". It pops up on and off. When this is occurring, I have noticed that the brake light in the rear window will come on while I am driving. If I tap the break, it will shut off for a few seconds, but then come back on. Has anyone else had this problem.

2013年8月3日 · TC is Traction Control. ESC is Electronic Stability Control. You can manually disable TC with a single press of the TC button. If you press and hold TC for 4 or 8 seconds (I forget right now) you can manually disable ESC. While those systems may use ABS to perform some of their magic they are not disabled due to worn pads.
