I was thinking hardness was going to be 63 Rc because of previous heat treat but this is a different European steel mill that seemed to benefit from the thermal cycling as the readings were a solid 64.5-65Rc. Also all blanks were perfectly straight which always makes me happy.

2014年1月26日 · Keeping with the 410 survival gun theme of this thread, I just got a Rossi Tuffy 410 a few days back, got it out the last two evenings looking for snowshoe hare, and had some success tonight. 1st game taken with that gun, 1st for me with a 410, and with my own handloads to boot!(2.5" Fiocchi hulls, 15.5gr H110, Claybuster wad, and 1/2 oz of #6).

2011年5月8日 · As some of you may know, many of the Oxhead axes have a larger, somewhat funny shaped eye. It looks like a bullet or a squished "D" -- it's flat on the poll side, and the sides of the eye run parallel until it tapers to the rounded end towards the bit. Anyways, I'm hoping to find a handle longer than the 28-incher that came on the axe.
