2014年9月15日 · The point farther east is the time you see the moonset. At New Moon the moonrise point is at sunrise. At first quarter moon the lines will be perpendicular and the moonrise point is right in the middle of the day. At full Moon the point of moon rise is at sunset. At third quarter Moon, the moonrise is at midnight. I hope that helps.

Since we are in december, if you are in the Northern hemisphere, it won't be possible to see it since it will be below the horizon all night long. That visit was around the new moon (it was a waning crescent phase and we were stargazing before moonrise). This time around I am wondering if the visit is worth it for the stargazing given the moon phase.

The blood moon can't possibly be on a timer as the time speed up, from sleeping at inns or sitting by fires, would interfere with that. I've also had nights with a full moon all night but no blood moon. This has happened multiple times while waiting for one of the dragons to show up when their spawn times switch to after 10pm.
