2016年7月17日 · School me on Redfish. Hello guys my trip is getting near and I will be down next week for some fishing. I'm from Texas and freshwater fish just about every weekend. My last trip to Pensacola was really my first experience with saltwater and it pretty much hooked me. I caught some specs,flounder,gafftop, and sharks.

Cruising the length of the bridge with a spotlight and you should be able to spot them and present a bait. Pioneer 202 Sportfish.

2015年8月30日 · 1. Rapala Xrap 08- this is my go to inshore bait period, and works very well on redfish. Olive green seems to work under all conditions and can really cover water very fast. 2. When fishing the rivers or upper bays for reds, I usually pull out the crankbaits and start winding. LC 0.5 and 0.5 DD work awesome and the reds really hammer them.

2023年9月6日 · Well since it wasn't as hot as it has been for the last friggin month, I decided to go chase some redfish. I found some schools of them but there were just as many sailcats as there were redfish with a few hardheads mixed in for good measure. Lol ! I was throwing a chartreuse grub on a 1/4 oz. jig head and the action was steady !

People do some fishing at the waterfront at the south end of Palafox in Pensacola (where Jaco's Restaurant is), dunno how much they catch, but I would guess cut mullet, dead shrimp might get some ...

2021年5月6日 · I have caught redfish on chatterbaits, even caught a flounder on a modified version of one once. Based on posts on this forum about using them in stained water and around grass, I have tried them and found in certain circumstances they catch fish. I've done best on variations of green but my experience with them for reds is still limited.
