So I would like to rotate the whole drawing 90 degrees counter-clockwise. (and put a small 3D view of the object in the upper-right corner) Here is a view of the drawing:

2015年8月7日 · There are known bugs if you use latest development release and use custom drawing templates and/or have inserted more than one drawing template of the same size/type. Your description does sound a bit different as if you would be affected by this you probably wouldn't see any as you say "see a couple circles".

2015年7月2日 · Another alternative would be to use Plain set of drawing templates in FreeCAD. Export created drawing as SVG file and in Inkscape add whatever template you would like to add as "new layer". As for the location of current drawing templates available by default in FreeCAD look at Template Property for Page object. Or you can download them here:
