What happened to Hippolyte Pixii? Reading on the early inventors of electrical devices and I come across Pixii, a Frenchman who created the earliest form of alternating current. He was a protege of Faraday, but died while in his mid twenties.

Nikola wasn't the only one working on AC power and didn't invent it. The first hand cranked AC motor was developed all the way back in 1832 by Hippolyte Pixii. About twenty years before he was born. There were many people working on AC power during nikola's time. IN europe there were already functioning two stage AC motors in the 1870's.
