2023年10月21日 · As I understand it, modern OLED panels and software have gotten much better at protecting against burn since the C7 came out. That said, my main use for the TV is gaming on my PS5 which increases burn-in risk through all of the HUD/menu elements, so I'd still like to protect my investment through an extended warranty coverage plan.

What they have done even though not stating it explicitly is replace your burned in OLED panel as a courtesy well past the 1 year warranty they carry here in North America. I expect they will do the same with this monitor.

2023年12月6日 · I bought my lg45 from best buy specifically so i could get their warranty in case of burn in. If youre worried, and it seems you are, buy the extra one on top from best buy and then you can go wild with it. My warranty lasts longer than I think ill own this panel.

I'm interested in getting an LG OLED from Costco. I went to my local warehouse and to my surprise they are still selling the LG C9. I specifically want this model since it supports DTS unlike the newer CX. My old LG B8 got burn in after 2 years from buying it.
