Audio not working from laptop when connected to 2nd monitor.
2019年2月20日 · Attached 2nd monitor via HDMI to laptop. "Duplicate" setting for video. Problem: no longer any sound from laptop, except for chime when running sound troubleshooter. The 2nd monitor has no sound capability, so I need to use my laptop sound. Any solution?

2018年8月26日 · What I was trying to do was to show some people a series of screen we were looking at, but I was on one side of the table and they were on the other. I was going to view the screen on the laptop and talk about it and respond to questions, and they were going to just look at the monitor, so we both needed to see the same screen.
I use a second screen and lose all sound, am I missing something?
2014年2月25日 · When I open the virtual class room on my laptop, I can hear my professor giving his lecture just fine, however when I plug in the HDMI cable to put the class on the second monitor I lose all sound, if I unplug the HDMI the sound comes right back. I have this problem with all audio when I attach my second screen, class, music, and videos.

2014年2月26日 · I had the same problem with both my HP laptop and my Dell laptop when I updated to 8.1. I couldn't project to second screen- even though I had been doing so since befor the update. Going to device manager through search and opening ur display and updating the driver (like someone previously mentioned) worked for me on both of them.

2023年4月9日 · Here is when the problem starts. It will only work with one external monitor. Without the HDMI cable connected to the laptop, the monitor with the VGA connection works. Once the HDMI cable from the second monitor is connected to the laptop simultaneously, the first monitor with VGA connection will go black with "D-SUB NO SIGNAL".
