What is a PEN conductor? A protective earthed neutral (PEN) conductor is a single conductor that has the combined function of providing the neutral and protective earth conductor in a TN-C-S earthing arrangement. A PEN conductor is normally, but not exclusively, used with an LV PME supply service earthing system.
