I have access to the barbell only once a week, working on my DL using the Beyond 5/3/1 template.

In 2018, i had few months of ROP- achive the half bodyweight press (32 kg- my weight was 63, 64 kg that time), ignored the SSST (sorry Pavel); then 5 weeks of DFW with double 25; 6 weeks of The wolf with double 20.

Jul 27, 2021 · But having just read rotk I really like the 2 week blocks and I think I have seen talk of alternating s&s with pttp in a 2 week block format. So I'm thinking of alternating pttp (deadlifts, bent presses, and adding either double kettlebell front squats or zercher squats a few times a week) with the Strongfirst Bjjfanatics lccj every 2 weeks.

Aug 13, 2024 · Yes, it's clearer in the preceeding chapter that you're only doing 2 sets (3 if you're not using it with RoTK). I've used the deadlift plan with single leg deadlifts for a number of cycles in the past, and I really like it.

Nov 6, 2023 · Pavel claims in ROTK this is an approach to progress with two goals. I've ran ETK as written probably 4 times. This "idea" outlined above is basically a response to owning only single bells and preferring BB deadlift to KB deadlift. Hence, compromising ROTK this way.

Jun 15, 2018 · I kind of bastardized ROTK. I'm still using the two week blocks, but instead of doing the ladders with the jerks, I've been doing the Scott Rdella Clean and Jerk program and bastardized that (light day 10 sets of 3, medium 10 sets of 4, heavy 10 sets of 5).

Apr 23, 2022 · At the end of this week it will be 56 weeks total on ROTK. One of those weeks was a wash because of moving but, other than that, it has been consistent. It's interesting how varied the reactions to double snatches are. I really can't think of any reason to stop doing ROTK.
