Shadow the hedgehog is a pretty weird game to emulate, you have to look for a more specific configuration for your Dolphin, in mine, it works flawlessly. The only real downside is the GameCube UI tho.

Neither the control nor the level design lend them to Shadow's speed at all, the gunplay while technically functional lacks much depth, and the mission design and structure are incredibly poor, essentially being collect-a-thons but set in very linear stages (excluding the horrible maze levels which are even worse) …

Definitely the best Shadow the Hedgehog game ever made. But honestly the best way to play it is expert mode. All of the levels on Max difficulty with less automation, free reign to kill whoever you want, no repetition, and no storyline people could get confused over.
